Interact Westlake High School was busy this winter of 2023/2024 and kept their Rotary Sponsor busy also.
Sock Drive that benefitted the homeless at Harbor House, Linus Blanket Project benefitting Ventura County and a Beach Clean Up in Ventura working with Surfrider Foundation not to mention meetings and homework. The Rotary Club of WLV Interact Sponsor Chair is Candice Johnston and she kept our Rotary Club members all hopping supporting the work that Interact club was doing. The HS club meets on Thursdays once a month, catches up with each other and gets a plan for a project or a meet up. Sometimes even a guest speaker like Patty from the Linus Project. One of the favorite projects that the WHS Interact Club did was in Camarillo, building pet beds for the shelter. Its been a year and quite the club, take a look at our future leaders in some of our photos, its a fine group for sure.
