October Designation
October is Economic and Community Development Month. Rotary supports investments in people to create measurable and enduring economic improvement in their lives and communities.
The Rotary Foundation enables Rotarians to invest in people by creating sustainable, measurable and long term economic improvements in their communities and livelihoods.
Area of Focus: Economic and Community Development Month. This month also includes International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on the 17th and World Polio Day on the 24th of October.

- Organise Awareness Seminar on Self-Employment at High Schools/Universities
- Organise Trade Exhibitions
- Organise Buyers-Sellers meets
- Take up an Entrepreneurship Development Program or organise a Consumer Forum
