From the Presidents Desk

As of now we have two in-person meetings scheduled for November 2^nd and 9^th.

 

At our meeting on the 2^nd our own Jean-Luc Jubin will be discussing the international project our club is participating in and Mark Niro from the US Department of Treasury will be our guest speaker.

 

Looking to see if we can schedule our 3^rd meeting for the 30^th as members are gone for the Thanksgiving holidays.

 

Talking about holidays, Holidays in the Village is a month away and excited to showcase this event to the community again. Many meetings and projects going on to knock this event “out of the park” this month. Please reach out to Jan or Chris on areas where you can help.

 

On Thursday the 17^th we will be having a social at Tarantula Hill to taste the new signature brew, Village Stout, for HITV. Our friends from Westlake Sunrise will be participating also. Please mark your calendars. Starts at 5:00pm.

 

November is Rotary Foundation Month. We will be explaining how the foundation works and benefits our community and communities around the world at this month’s meetings.

 

Also save December 3^rd for our Holiday Shopping Spree with kids from the Boys and Girls Club. To fund this, we are having a Poinsettia Sale. We have sold 200 with a goal of 350. Let me know if you wish to participate.
