Yes, you were correct our August named Rotarian of the Month is Christina Ortega, her contributions to this club have been exceptional and not just this month but since she became a member in the Rotary Club of Westlake Village two years ago.   Her talents, her time and her treasure have certainly been given.
 
Christina wears many hats but one of them is a Realtor at Pinnacle Estate Properties, Inc. Corporate . She has also been enjoying team RCWLV Trivia at least the winning part.
 
Fun and Games time with Dapper Spar was a happening. Did you purchase your square?
 
Peaches spoke about the Interact youth group, their picnic is September 18, 2022, shirts are being printed for the group. President Chief Mike is the  District Chair of Interact, he will be attending a 3 day event setting up Interact groups via zoom from other countries.
 
Morrison Park Playground Project: Fundraisers like Bruno Mars Cover band night $50.00 at the Canyon Club, get your tickets now. MPPP is looking for more fundraisers, any ideas?
 
Brad introduced guests at the meeting with his usual charm.

Guest Speaker: A special treat was Past DG Deepa Willingham speaking on Service and the importance to humanity.  We will be posting her slide show for those who missed the meeting. #serviceaboveself #quitetheperson
 
A bit of Holiday in the Village news, Kimmy Tharpe has a new point of sale system, we will only be selling tickets for beer and wine. Jane Seymour is returning as are other vendors and some new ones, the marketplace is almost full but still looking for a few unique vendors. Holidays in the Village business cards are available now for members to use when we are out and about talking to potential sponsors and auction donors. Just ask Erin for them and the beautiful tri-fold leave behinds. 
 
City of Westlake is being most helpful as are sheriff's dept and transportation.

Lynn needs boxes, paint, storage.
Big ask to our members right now: Sponsors, Volunteers and Auction Items. Find storage, can't afford the one we have, help us find a new one.
