Bob then spoke to the group. He stated he wanted this year's motto to be “Be the Inspiration.” He spoke about thinking what we can do to make the world a better place and how as Rotarians, we work to free the world of polio. Bob stated that we need to understand that our actions are guided by our feelings and that we can be positive, negative, or ambivalent with these feelings. He stated we are all rain drops on a desert of need. Individually we don’t make a difference but together we can create streams which can turn into rivers. Rivers which will erode away the mountains of strife that is in the world now.

The meeting was adjourned.
