Bruce House started off with the Flag Salute, followed by PP Brad Ormsby leading the song.  Irene Agnew shared an Apache prayer as the inspirational moment.

Street Festival update by Barbara Chilton, Brian Hynes, and PEN Dapper Spar.  Posters were distributed. Members were reminded to wear their Rotary wardrobe, Street Festival t-shirts, yellow vests, hats, pins, etc.

Today's Program:

Lutheran Social Services.  Director Leslie Orth shared stories of participants in the program, how Case Management is helping keep the participants on the path, and how the new program Circles can help fill the needs of the poor.  Leslie told us that participants agree not to pan-handle, because the program already takes care of the participants.  She also passed out cards we can offer, instead of cash, to pan-handlers, which show where the shelter/meal locations are in the Conejo.  It's always nice to hear from the people we help; our club has been serving homeless meals on the 4th Monday each month for many years.
