Call Steve to confirm. * 2018 Underprivileged Children’s Shopping Spree: Sat. 12/9. 6:45am – 8:30am @ Target. Ken Snow is organizing. We need your participation. Karen- Thank you to members for their prayers, condolences and support for the recent death of her father. Audrey – For her daughter, who is flying in from NY this weekend to introduce Mom to her new “boyfriend." Linda – a wonderful vacation at “Best Friends Animal Sanctuary” in Utah. Mike – Vikings and USC wins. Mike is offering 2 free tickets for 2 galas this weekend: Both are being held at the Four Seasons. Boys and Girls Club Gala and Autism Charity Gala. Dinner will be served. Dress in costume and participate in a Pumpkin Carving contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed and Best Pumpkin. No FLAG this week. December 27, 2017: Dark a Program Did you know we have a brewery right here in Westlake Village? Tim Kazolos – owner of Five Threads Brewing Co., was introduced by Dapper. Tim has a background in bio-tech. After college he would often accompany his boss to business conferences. In the evenings Tim and his boss would visit local breweries. At the same time, Tim was studying for his MBA. Tim was so fascinated with how to brew beer he wrote his thesis on the subject. Five Threads Brewery has an on-premises brewery and tasting room. Tim anticipates producing 500 barrels of beer this year. Five Threads brews 14 varieties of beer. The four components of beer are water, malt, hops and yeast. Five Threads adds a 5th ingredient – you and I – the beer “lovers." To date, 35 restaurants serve Five Threads beer. Tim started his business on 10/21/2017. Five Threads is celebrating a successful two years in business and is having an anniversary party on October 21st. Food, music and beer will be featured.
